Santa had a great time when he visited Sheriff Hutton Castle last Christmas. So much so, he has decided to return. He is looking forward to meeting some of the children again! He was at the castle before during the early 1400s, shortly after the castle had been built, when he visited to deliver some presents to the children back then. The castle has, of course, undergone a few changes since and is now largely ruinous. But in one of the towers, a medieval hall remains and, as a venue for meeting Santa, is unique.
Sheriff Hutton Castle is not generally open to the public, so for children and adults alike Santa's visit presents a superb opportunity to experience this fantastic space, take wonderful atmospheric photos and enjoy a special visit like no other.
